finding my way...

I'm finding that less is more,

Finding my way is harder when I am struggling with my Lupus, thankfully

I find the greatest joy in my true passion of turning the unwanted

into the  sought after.

I am excited to be able to join another week of Cindy's Make it 4 Monday

party, I love Cindy she is simply so real and bursting with talent...

paint, sanding a perfect combo for

frames found that no one wanted

each piece has a story

and a part of my heart

I lose all of my worries when I am working

this old desk was the best 5.00 dollars spent yet

and got me through a really rough last week

I married it with my 2.00 dollar

yard sale chairs that I painted

and recovered with burlap

and as of now has the loves of my heart displayed

never underestimate the will

of a woman with a sander & staple gun

leave no stoned unturned...

Your word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light to my path

Psalms 119:105

the talent is endless at Cindy's

you won't want to miss it

Blessings to you

You are so sweet :) Of course I love every ding dang picture...I've been messing with empty frames today, but can't seem to make it work (above my couch).

Every so glad you could Mi4M!

Hmmm wouldn't that desk would look perfect next to the dresser in my kitchen? Let me know if you decide to sell it...I do get first dibs, right??? Oh and I still want the chair too... :)

Love you my sweet friend, through the good, the bads, and the uglies...

You are amazing Kate! The desk is gorgeous, and paired with the 2.00 chair well, that's just gorgeous! I always love your vignettes, you are such an artist. Take care and I hope you get some relief very soon. I think you are superwoman though, having accomplished all of that while not feeling well. My prayers are with you and yours, and I hope your mom's recovery is going well. Theresa xoxo

This project turned out lovely, Kate! It always makes me feel better and eases my mind to create something or work on a project or artwork, too! Hope you are feeling better soon, I know when you are stressed it's hard not to have flares. Hope your mother is doing ok...I will keep you both in my prayers! XO Linda

I have to admit too that work is my positive in my life, my escape. No matter how much I'm dealing with personally, when I'm either working at the store, or paperpaper, or working at home, I DO feel so much better. It's good to keep the mind busy, don't you think?

Take care my friend, Sue

Kate you've got great taste and such talent. Wish you lived nearby, so that I could frequent your shop you sell at. Love the recent recreations of the desk and chairs - they are divine.
Missed not seeing your lovely blog of late, but I'm so happy to have been reminded again of its beauty, as well as your gifted writing.
May God bless you with a wonderful December of health, so that you may enjoy the Holidays with your family...
