Where the road leads...

to my friend Kari, this one's for you...

the travels of one's heart

is the most precious journey

of them all...

the love of a friend

is the greatest treasure

and God's sweetest blessing...

know that you are loved...

the one that holds your hand

holds your heart as well...

time is a gift

that sometimes we fail to use...

sending you love from

the miles between us...

simply some inspiration from

me to you...

XOXO

  5. Fabulous post Kate! Your photos are beautiful, but the thoughts behind them even more so. I've found this past year, through this journey I never would have chosen, that friends (and family) are the angels HE has sent my way to help carry me through. A true friend is indeed a precious gift from God. (and I'm sorry to say are easy to take for granted when things are going well). xoxo
    Blessings & hugs,
    Karen

  7. Hi Kate,
i was at Country Roads this past Sunday...love the booth. I bought the rusty crate and stand, it is well very delicious. I see the pillow there on the bed that is from my friend Sylvia, I did the printing for her, I just love the fringe on it :) I hope all is well as can be with you and your family.

    Blessings,

  9. I'm hoping the third times the charm with my comment ;-)

Thank you Kate. You have no idea what this means to me. To know that I have only met you once briefly in CR and just through our blogs and that you would be thinking of me, praying for me, and posting for me, is so touching. I am so moved by your gesture and it's something I will keep in the memory of my mind and heart always. Today was a particularly stressful day but this was my bright spot... I cried when I read this post this morning and have reread it several times today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... I definitely feel the love through the miles.

    xoxo
    Kari

  12. Hi Kate Friendship is special, and your Kari must be special, Kate!! I could us this post you wrote to discribe you :)

You too touch the hearts of every connection you make, a special soul you are.

    Have a beautiful weekend.

Oh, oh, oh!!! almost forgot...that dark weathered with time rustic flea market chic-ness that you and your hubby's photo is on with the sea lantern and the message in the bottle, well I know without seeing the whole piece that peak-a-boos in the photo is a piece I would love, I love the embellished painting on the one drawer the different drawer pulls and the worn off patina of black, it is a wow! piece, please soem time soon let us see more of that piece :)

see you soon and all you inspire from the heart.
