  2. Love the old locker baskets, I've got a couple myself. If I was to add an additional locker basket to my "stuff", I think I would get some more orchid plants to put in the old basket! Have a great day, and I still can't get over how fast Gracie is growing!

    Take care,
    Sue

  4. Hi Kate! Hope you got my emails ;-) what a fantastic giveaway!!! There's nothing better than coral and locker baskets! I currently have one locker basket filled with shells. I'd like to fill another with coral/driftwood and the other maybe with washcloths and pretty soaps. I like Sue's idea about an orchid, that would be beautiful as well. You can't go wrong with this giveaway... I think it's my favorite ever!

  11. I started to buy a locket basket Saturday and left it sitting and was so disappointed when I got home. I would use it for my husband to place his wallet, keys, etc. in when he comes in the door. I will post your giveaway on my facebook page as well.

  12. Ooh! I love those Kate! Hmm... I would use one in the boys bathroom for rolled towels... or on my coffee table with a fern in it... or tipped on its side for the counter in the kitchen for my favorite cookbooks. I am going to post a link on my blog right now and announce it on FB. :)

  13. i have always had a special place in my heart for these locker baskets...when I was little our swimming pool used these to store our things in and then would give us the numbered safety pin to wear on our swimsuit to claim our goods after a day of swimming. Last summer I went back to my hometown pool and they still had towers and towers of the baskets but they don't use them anymore. I wanted to smuggle them out in my tote bag, lol
I think these baskets would showcase my yarn balls perfectly ;)

  14. This is so pretty! I'm thinking I'd start by putting plants in, but I'd probably change it up all the time.

  15. It may not sound very "Dior", but since I already have one of those I would love to use it (if I win of course) to hang on the wall (read bottom of basket screwed to wall, top of basket looking into room) in my boys room and put funky boyish items in it.
Maybe a plane or boat they made of lego's in it.
Or put their books in it.

    Thanks for the give away.

  21. I've been following your blog for several months. Love your style!

I'd love to win your giveaway....several reasons....living in the heartland does not give easy access to beachy items. I've long admired the coral you decorate with.

The baskets.....oh my! Organize kitchen office area, houseplant, winter gear in entryway, school supplies...endless possibilities.

Thank you for offering the wonderful giveaway!

I would love to say that I would put something cool and fun in them (like the coral!) but honestly, I have been on the hunt for 2 more for my hall linen closet because I LOVE putting linens in them :) My linen closet has antique glass uppers, and I adore the peek of the vintage iron basket with linens that you can see just a hint of thru the glass :) Thanks for the chance sweetie XOX

  44. Is it really boring to fill the baskets with magazines? Maybe. Hmmmm, I could fill them with potatoes and onions and put them in my pantry. But then I'd only get to see them when I open up my pantry door. I could put them in my sons's room and fill them with baseballs, but I want them for myself. I'll have to keep thinking about this. :)

  70. You know Kate, it's a funny thing. When I find locker baskets, I always feel like I have to sell 'em...but, if I were to receive one from you, that would be a whole different ball of wax. I would feel absolutely no guilt in the world keeping it and filling it with memories of you and others I've met through blogging. Does that make me an old sentimental fool? I don't care.
This is so generous of you, but then you are a generous, giving, big hearted gal.
    XO
    Deb
