Vintage Inspiration Friday

When I think about what

I love most about the use of

vintage pieces is how

they add wonderful

touches throughout your home...

I salvaged this old door from

a torn down home and knew

it would be a perfect back drop...

I decided to marry it

in a corner of the room

with a treasured vintage suitcase

and an old piano bench

to hold extra bed pillows

Later I dry brushed

the piano bench with white

so that I could use it

with one of the vintage ladders

I found at a yard sale...

My heart skips a beat when I

find an old ladder

{swoon}

The arched vintage window

is still among my favorite

finds...

I added baskets to this

vintage ladder that I took

to my space at Country Roads...

I am linking up to

the lovely Debra's Vintage Inspiration Friday #85

Wishing all of you

a blessed weekend...

XOXO

Hi Kate! Just found you through Debra at Common Ground and must say I am so glad! What a wonderful blog to find!

I have just started a blog and have added your button to my sidebar and also added you to my blog list. And I am a new follower!

Also know you are in my prayers. I have a couple of friends that also suffer from Lupus and I know how horribly that affects their life. But just like you, they try to make the best of it and live life as fully possible.

Blessings,
Robin ~ Southern Bella

Hi Kate, Oh girl you have my #. I have a fetish for old doors, ladders, windows, and pillars. So much so that hubby will even say (when I leave to go thrifting or vaca with the girls) Just don't bring home any old windows or doors. Never stopped me yet. lol! I love your corner display. Everything looks so fresh and lovely. Hope you are feeling better.
hugs,
Jann

Oh such lovelyness... Love it all.
I found you at Amber's blog and you invited me in your circle on Etsy.
Such serendipity to found your blog! I love it.
And... you are close by! I should visit country roads.

I have a love for ladders too.
Just found a huge wood ladder dumped outside somewhere. Hubby told me that pear pickers used them against trees.
I hope some day soon to use it to have roses climb against it.

Or maybe... I should just use it for display in my bedroom. We have high ceilings there.

Will become your newest follower!
