" Objects of Desire "

Ever wonder why we love

what we love at first sight?

Does it linger for only a moment

or does it become our next forever?

This sweet vintage table

just needed a little love.

After some sanding and two coats of

paint she was ready for a spot

in the guest house.

{Paint color is Mystic Lake by Vista }

Later I stumbled upon

a small half of an old panel door

in the alley and simply

could not resist her chippy glory.

It fit nicely upon

one of my Prairie Style tables we made

of reclaimed wood.

I'm madly in love this week and

will be joining some of my favorite

lovelies in blog land.

Wishing each of you a beautiful

and blessed week!

I had one of these half moon tables I use to use it in a bathroom displaying pretties, soaps, perfumes, and such. I so wish I had kept mine!
I love it's sweet soft paleness, fitting in at home in your comfy guest quarters.

Love all your finds and so wish it was driving you alleys :)

Beautiful sweet table Kate, don't tire of it, you may regret it like me!

Oh I love that shade of blue! I have an old table just like that in dire need of a new paint job. I have had my eye out for some chippy shutters for a while. My heart will soar when I find them! Thanks for sharing with SYC. sweet Kate.

I stumbled across your site via Pinterest. Although your design style is different than mine, I really enjoyed paging through your site. I love to experience how creative people as yourself, see an object beyond what is sitting in front of them. You do nice work with your finds. I enjoyed my visit to your webpage. On a more personal note, you have a gorgeous family.

Missing you beautiful Kate,
I hope these days are finding you well. If not know that you are most often on my mine. I scroll down my blog list and see that days go by into weeks, then a month creeps up and now two!
I hope it's summer and all it inspires from you that is keeping you away from a new post and that God is doing his almighty work in you with keeping your health strong.

Will keep my eyes open waiting to see what you have been up to even if it's been clipping away at what browns wild in your yard to ten make a fresh bouquet of beauty for your home of rustic charm.

Love all you bring, love all you give.

Blessings
