A new LOVE for White

Remember when you find that new love?

the one that makes your heart go pitter patter...

that's what I found at the Irvine flea at my sweet friend

Rose's space she took the most rusty, chippy, all full of goodness

bird bath and placed it in a white urn filled with sand then topped

with beautiful sea shells, I knew then it had to come home with me

that I would fill it with sea shells from my Gracie girl

and now this beauty has a place in my heart and my home

It will always remind me of my first day moving into Country Roads and how

Rose greeted me with her warmth and kindness

and that was the start of our friendship.

She has always been there to lend the supportive shoulder

as I spread my wings in this world where we " junk in love "

I " heart " you Rose

you can always find Rose and her beautiful wares at

the Irvine Flea, Rose bowl, and Urban Barn

I did this lamp today and added one of the pieces

of coral that Rose sells and a sea shell

yes I'm in love for sure

New arrivals for #31 at Country Roads

Have a beautiful week girls!!!

stop by and see all of the wonderful goodness

of Kathleen's White Wednesday Post

It is amazing, Kate!
Great idea, I love how you filled it too!
I have probably shopped with her and didn't even know it at the Rosebowl.

I totally agree when it comes to Rose. She is a pretty special lady isn't she? Your space looks great, as always! We got so busy again yesterday (I'm not complaining) that I never got back to check it out or take pictures.

Darn, I was the first to comment last night but Blogger wouldn't let me actually post the comment! Kate, I just wanted to say that I love your new piece and I understand why you are so in love!! Oh to shop at the Rosebowl or Country Roads, I'm about 1,200 miles closer than I was before. Maybe before I leave Utah!

I haven't posted anything in my blog or elsewhere in forever. I feel soooooo blah! My rental is soooo KHAKI! Walls, ceilings, my accessories and furniture seem to clash!! Mr Man, said we are NOT going to go thru the trouble of painting textured ceilings and changing the wall colors only to change them back again before we leave.

I just spent a small fortune on 120inch curtains for the living room...argh! I have no inspiration. I would really love a pretty home here in Utah:)

If I post pics, wanna give some advice?...cause I could sure use the help!

Love,
Pat

Hi Kate, thanks for stopping by my blog. I wanted to make a comment on your comment about Goodwills in California. And I absolutely agree with you, they are the best in CA! I used to live in Tracy, CA 5 years ago and loved, loved my local GW..I remember being so thrilled over finding a whole box of apothecary jars! Almost all of my furniture is from CA GW..I had to bring it with me to FL...hahaha

What a fabulous find and I love all the seashells nestled inside. Also really like your idea for the lamp base. You can never go wrong with shells, can you?

Sorry you weren't feeling well, hopefully you're better now.

Take care,

Kathleen

Hello Kate~((sigh)) love it! What caught my attention is the different design elements giving a beautiful variety of textures from...the sea shells to the crystals. I would have a great time interchanging this vignette for each season.
Seeing your photos and reading about So-Cal is such a joy. The OC will always be home and holds a piece of my heart...even though I'm living in the Pacific Northwest.

Thank you for strolling in for a visit and leaving me a sweet note. I know how hectic the summer activities can be so I truly appreciate you taking the time to chat.

Sweet wishes,
Sara
